Shipping Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated individual to join our Shipping and Receiving department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks, including climbing onto trailers as needed. Operate a forklift and overhead crane safely and efficiently. Utilize hand tools such as grinders, saws, and impact wrenches as required. Follow instructions to ensure proper shipping and receiving procedures. Maintain a neat and organized work environment. Lift up to 75 lbs regularly. Work on ladders and in elevated spaces safely. Ensure proper documentation of shipments and inventory.
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving is preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
