Job Description
Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator/Lead Installer Brookhaven, PA 19015 Full-time Full-time We are a competitive and fast paced architectural metalwork company in Brookhaven, PA, looking for a versatile, quality and safe minded miscellaneous metals fabricator and lead installer . Candidate must be a self starter with a sense of urgency.
Candidate must maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment, while following quality standards and procedures. A valid driver's license and good clean driving record is required. We conduct a pre-employment drug screening process. We seek career minded individuals who can identify with these qualities.
Fabrication and Installations include:
metal railings, stairways, and miscellaneous metals. Minimum 5 years experience in miscellaneous metals fabrication and steel erection, including railings, stairways. Exceptional mig and stick welding skills. Welding certification is a plus. Demonstrated ability to fabricate railings and stairways from shop drawings to completion. Provide quality installation, with work completed within an allocated time frame and on budget. Minimum 3 years experience leading an installation team of 2-3 installers. Perform physical work with heavy lifting. Ability to work safely from elevated heights. OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Communicate with customers, other trades, and employees in a professional manner. Communicate progress updates to our management and relay end of day status updates via text or email. Will include photos, completion of job summary reports or detailed open item reports to follow up successfully to complete jobs. Proven ability to read and interpret installation drawings and construction plans. Review project notes prior to deployment to ensure all material, hardware, and equipment is loaded and prepared prior to install. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently and affectively.
