Job Description

Ajax Electric Co. has an open position for help on our production floor, which consists of a machine, weld, and brick shop.

Position Summary:

A shop hand/metal fabricator will be able to do a variety of tasks ranging from bending sheet metal, laying out plates based off a 2D blueprint, cutting metal bars down to size, laying brick, machining, packing product for shipping, and fork-lift operation. All skill levels are welcome to apply; we will be able to train you in all areas of the shop.

Desired Skills or Qualifications:

Using a Measuring Tape
Experience Working with Your Hands
Reading & Comprehending 2D Blueprints
Using Power Tools

Knowledge of Machines Hours:

Friday:

7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Ajax Electric Co. is a manufacturer of Salt Bath Furnaces which are used in industrial heat-treating applications. We are small, employee-owned company with approximately 20 employees.
