Job Description

Proudly Recognized as Lancaster County's Best Place to Work! $3000 Sign-on Bonus Excellent Career Growth Opportunities The Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizes equipment downtime, and helps ensure the reliability and performance of production assets. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial maintenance with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including Programmable Logisitc Controller (PLC), motor controls, and automated equipment. Responsibilities Trouble-shooting skills with and repair various electrical and mechanical production equipment in wire mill. Proficient troubleshooting skills for motors, motor controls and equipment electronic systems to make necessary adjustments or repairs. Trouble-shoot PLC based control systems and make component adjustments and/or repairs Work with production in troubleshooting and scheduling preventative maintenance and equipment repairs Assist with safety compliance inspections and maintain operating certificates such as boiler and pressure vessel certificates Analyze equipment failures, determine cause(s) and make necessary adjustments and repairs Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of Direct Manufacturing facilities, building and grounds and ensure all are maintained to Company standards Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and identify parts on BOMS. Assist with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements Maintain spare parts inventory, storage and organization and ensure spare parts are ordered in a timely manner Maintain individual project paperwork, work order organization to be looked upon leader within the maintenance team Honor Direct Wire's core values Requirements High school diploma or GED required.
