Job Description
Smithton, PA company is currently hiring a full-time Metal Fabricator. Certified welder preferred. Candidate should be proficient in reading, understanding and following engineering drawings to fit and fabricate steel components and equipment to specified tolerances. Skills required include proficient operation of a cutting torch, plasma cutter, band saw, grinder and MIG welder. Stick and TIG welding experience is a plus. Basic Manual Machining experience is a plus. Candidate should also expect to perform various labor tasks with possible heavy lifting and/or operation of forklifts. A performance demonstration will be conducted during interview process. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience. This is not an entry level position. Candidate should be capable of completing projects without direct supervision. All necessary tools and PPE are provided. Candidate must pass standard background checks and urine and hair follicle drug test.
