Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join our manufacturing and construction team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and FCAW, and demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality project execution across diverse construction and manufacturing environments, ensuring compliance with industry codes such as ASME standards.

)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <
LOCATION
> welding techniques on a variety of materials including sheet metal and pipe components. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments to ensure precise fabrication. Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools to shape and assemble metal parts. Conduct rigging and mechanical assembly tasks, including the use of cranes and forklifts for material handling. Apply welding codes and standards such as ASME to ensure quality and safety compliance during all fabrication activities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and construction site operations. Collaborate with team members on project planning, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting fabrication issues. Support the installation of ductwork, structural components, or mechanical systems as required on-site or in the workshop. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder in construction sites or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of welding techniques including
MIG, TIG, FCAW.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of mechanical systems such as pipe threading and assembly processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience working with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts or cranes for material handling is desirable. Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding practices. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
