Role Description The Fabricator is a full-time, on-site role based in Arlington, TX, responsible for producing high-quality parts, assemblies, and displays using metal. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, operating fabrication equipment and hand tools, measuring and cutting materials, and performing drilling, bending, forming, and finishing operations. The Fabricator collaborates with engineering and production teams to support prototyping and full-scale manufacturing, ensuring products meet quality standards and project specifications. This role also involves routine equipment maintenance, adherence to safety procedures, accurate documentation of work, and active participation in continuous improvement of fabrication processes. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders; strong measurement and layout skills using standard shop tools. Hands-on experience working with metal, including cutting, drilling, forming, and assembly in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, presses, routers, and related shop tools; familiarity with CNC or laser equipment is a plus. Knowledge of shop safety practices, PPE use, and safe operation of machinery; commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area. Attention to detail and quality control, including inspecting parts and assemblies, verifying dimensions, and meeting production standards and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and design teams; strong communication skills and reliability in an on-site manufacturing environment. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks; prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or trades is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in fabrication, machining, or related fields is beneficial.
