Welder-Mig/Fabrication Pay Rate $18.00 - $22.00
Job Summary:
Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and production specifications. Ensures all welds meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Fit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to welding. Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy. Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other precision tools. Repair defective welds and make adjustments as needed. Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with general fabrication and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
