Responsibilities and Duties Preventative Maintenance:
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, dividers, conveyors, slicers, packaging machines, refrigeration systems, boilers, ect Lubricate, clean, and adjust machinery according to manufacturer specifications and established maintenance schedules. Inspect equipment for wear and tear, identifying and addressing potential issues before they lead to breakdowns. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment failures. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including motors, pumps, valves, sensors, and control systems. Utilize electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment problems. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Equipment Installation and Modification:
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new bakery equipment. Perform modifications and upgrades to existing equipment to improve performance and efficiency. Ensure all installations and modifications comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Report any safety hazards or equipment deficiencies to management. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies. Order and receive parts as needed. Track and document parts usage.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with production and sanitation teams to ensure efficient equipment operation. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other maintenance personnel. Provide technical support and training to other employees as needed. Maintain a work order system, and input all relevant data. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred. Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair skills. Knowledge of PLC systems, control systems, and industrial automation. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various temperature conditions. Knowledge of food safety standards.

2 years (Required) Wage $30.25 - $38.90 based upon ability and experience. There is also a $1 Per hour shift premium for the hours of 6pm to 6am
