SUMMARY:
The Creation Design Representative is responsible for developing and delivering design solutions for all design-build projects. This position focuses on collaborating with clients to understand their vision, creating designs that meet client goals, preparing construction documentation to support successful project execution, and involved in the sales process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. (20%) Works with clients to develop the vision for projects and create designs that meet client goals. This work may include but is not limited to:
Meeting with clients to understand project goals, preferences, and budget;
Presenting design concepts and gathering feedback from clients;
Communicating design recommendations and guiding clients through decision-making;
Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the design process. 2. (40%) Completes designs for all design-build projects. This work may include, but is not limited to:
Developing conceptual and final design plans for design-build projects;
Creating layouts, renderings, and design presentations to communicate project vision;
Revising designs based on client feedback and project requirements;
Ensuring designs are completed accurately and in alignment with company standards, project scope, and timelines. 3. (20%) Develops in conjunction with Design Associate all design development and construction documents needed for handoff to Operations. This work may include but is not limited to:
Selection of all materials
hardscape and softscape;
Preparing detailed, complete, and accurate construction drawings, plans, and specifications for handoff to Operations;
Documenting materials, measurements, and installation requirements;
Updating construction documents based on project changes or field conditions. 4. (10%) Coordinates with vendors and subcontractors as needed to support the needs of the design-build division. This work may include, but is not limited to:
Communicating with vendors to gather product information, availability, and pricing to inform design decisions;
Communicating with subcontractors to convey design intent and project requirements;
Selecting materials and products that align with project scope, budget, and client preferences. 5. (5%) Working with team to sell the project. This work may include, but is not limited to:
Communicating design intent to estimating during budget phase;
Presenting budgets and hard bids to clients;
Receiving feedback from clients and communicating back to estimating for proposal updates. 6. (5%) Continuous develop of the design studio. This work may include, but is not limited to:
Updating design standards;
Building out details, blocks for future use
Updating material libraries

QUALIFICATIONS
The following education, skills and experience are required for this role:
Horticulture or Landscape Architecture Degree (LA License a plus)
5+ years of experience in landscape design, construction design, or a related field;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Strong problem-solving skills;
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines;
Strong communication and client relationship skills;
Ability to work independently, lead others and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
SALARY/BENEFITS
$90,000
110,000 D.

Bonus:

EXPECTATIONS
Self starter, takes initiative, business owner mentality. Establishes meaningful relationships with clients, demonstrating the TBC values. Clearly communicate and download plans to estimator to provide accurate pricing. Build comprehensive hand-off package for effective construction projects. Involvement in onsite pre-con meeting, providing comprehensive project information to foreman. Daily communication & updates to clients, project manager, foreman, owners. Necessary field visits for construction administration. Leads by example and follows the company core values at all times.

SCHEDULE

Hour Work Week:
Monday-Friday, Occasional Weekend Flexible Hours Time off requests made 4 weeks in advance (busy seasons may not allow for time off requests to be granted)
