Landscape Designer & Sales Consultant Design beautiful outdoor spaces. Build relationships. See your ideas come to life. Landscape Garden Centers is a family-owned company with more than 40 years of experience serving Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities. We are looking for a Landscape Designer & Sales Consultant to join our team and help homeowners and businesses transform their outdoor spaces. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys design, working with people, and seeing a project go from an initial idea to a finished landscape. You'll work directly with clients to understand their vision, develop creative and practical landscape designs, present proposals, and help guide projects through the sales and design process. What You'll Do Meet with residential and commercial clients to learn about their goals, style, and budget. Visit properties and evaluate existing site conditions. Create custom landscape designs, planting plans, outdoor living spaces, and hardscape concepts. Present designs and proposals to clients and help them make decisions about their projects. Prepare project estimates and budgets. Make revisions based on client feedback and project needs. Build lasting relationships with clients throughout the design and sales process. Work closely with our Project Managers and installation teams to ensure projects transition smoothly from design to construction. Participate in final project walkthroughs and help ensure the finished project meets the client's expectations. Manage multiple projects and client relationships while staying organized and meeting deadlines. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is creative, personable, organized, and comfortable working directly with customers. You may be a great fit if you have experience in: Landscape design or landscape architecture Horticulture or plant science Landscape construction Residential or commercial landscape sales Customer service or account management Design or another related field Previous landscape design experience required.

Enjoy working with people and building relationships. Have a creative eye and enjoy developing design ideas. Can listen to a client's ideas and turn them into a practical plan. Are comfortable presenting your ideas and recommendations to customers. Have strong communication and organizational skills. Pay attention to details and follow through on commitments. Can manage multiple projects at different stages. Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Helpful Experience Landscape design software Estimating or proposal preparation Residential landscape design and construction Knowledge of local plants and landscape materials Sales or closing experience Degree or certification in landscape design, landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field Don't meet every qualification?
