What You'll Do As a Landscape Designer, you'll take our customers' ideas and turn them into beautiful, functional outdoor spaces they can see and get excited about before construction begins. You'll work with site photos, measurements, plans, customer inspiration, and our team to create residential landscape designs ranging from individual outdoor features to complete property transformations.
Projects may include:
Complete backyard transformations Modern outdoor living spaces Pools and spas Patios and pavers Outdoor kitchens Fireplaces and fire pits Pergolas and shade structures Retaining walls Turf and putting greens Water features Planting and hardscape Game courts And more What You'll Create Our designers help deliver both our Modern Design and Modern Signature customer experiences, including: Professional 2D landscape designs Planting and hardscape layouts Dimensions and measurements Material recommendations Construction-ready concepts High-quality 3D renderings Realistic materials and textures Multiple viewing angles and perspectives Customer revisions and design refinements The goal is simple: Create designs that make customers say, "That's exactly what I want my yard to become." Experience & Skills Experience in landscape design, architecture, drafting, 3D visualization, or similar design work is preferred. Experience with programs such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, D5 Render, Twinmotion, Structure Studios/VIP3D, PRO Landscape, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is a plus. You don't need to know every program. We're much more interested in whether you can learn quickly, embrace technology, solve problems, and consistently produce incredible work. Knowledge of Utah plants, landscapes, hardscapes, grading, drainage, pools, construction, and outdoor living is also a plus. Why Modern Utah Landscape?
