POSITION IN LOCKPORT
Job Summary Complete Quality is seeking experienced Cherry Picker Operators to provide warehouse support services under contract for a furniture distribution facility. This is a 1099 opportunity ideal for safety-conscious professionals with experience operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Contractors will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including material movement, inventory handling, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving activities while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Schedules:
6am - 2:30pm 11am - 7:30pm Monday-Friday Poss OT Saturdays Responsibilities Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other approved material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve furniture products. Load and unload furniture and related materials from trailers and warehouse locations. Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Safely transport products throughout the warehouse while minimizing product damage. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and location maintenance. Verify inbound and outbound shipments against shipping documentation. Maintain organized storage areas and staging locations. Perform pre-use equipment inspections and report any operational or safety concerns. Follow all facility safety requirements and operating procedures. Maintain a clean and professional work area. Communicate effectively with onsite management regarding workflow, inventory discrepancies, or safety issues. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of reach truck or forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment. Experience handling large, bulky, or heavy furniture products preferred. Ability to safely lift, move, push, and pull furniture throughout the shift. Familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and meet productivity expectations. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods. Must clear E-Verify and background Preferred Qualifications Reach Truck Certification or previous certification experience. Experience in furniture distribution, home goods, or large-item warehouse operations. RF Scanner and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience. Work Environment This position is performed in a furniture warehouse and may require: Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Handling oversized and heavy furniture products. Working in varying warehouse temperatures. Operating equipment in a busy warehouse environment.
