Traveling Mine Equipment Operator

Job Description:
The FLASH Family of Companies is seeking a Wisconsin-based crew to support operations at our Texas Frac plant in Saint Jo (north TX; approx. 80 miles NW of DFW). Team members will travel via private charter aircraft from Oshkosh, WI to Texas and work a rotating schedule of two weeks on / two weeks off, averaging approximately 80 hours per week while on-site. All travel, lodging, and accommodations are provided by the company. This position is ideal for dependable, hard-working individuals who are comfortable with travel and extended work rotations in an industrial/mining environment. The Mine Equipment Operator is responsible for operations of mobile equipment and wash and/or dry plant operations. Employees are expected to operate all equipment in a safe manner. As a result, basic mechanical skills are required for maintenance of equipment and assistance to overall plant maintenance.
Job Requirements:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key duties of the Mine Equipment Operator include, but are not limited to: Mobile equipment operations of, but not limited to: wheel loader, excavator, dozer, haul truck, skid loader, and screener. Operation and knowledge of wash and/or dry plant startup/shutdown procedures. General labor, as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of mobile equipment experience Capable of climbing stairs and access ladders several times per day In good general health Capable of lifting 75 pounds Basic mechanical skills Able and willing to work extended work schedules, overtime, weekends, and call ins, as necessary. Understand and comply with mining safety and environmental regulations Ability to be cross-train and assume other responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing, walking, sitting, squatting, talking, hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and fingers movements, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching or grasping Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed and engage in strenuous physical activity
