Job Description

Everwarm Hearth and Home has been in the stove and fireplace business for more than 30 years and is well known in the community. We are experiencing growth and need to add to our team. Come and join a dynamic, growing company! The ideal candidate will have knowledge of gas, wood, and pellet stove installation and troubleshooting. This employee will report to our office every morning to be given the service schedule for the day and load up assigned company trucks with all equipment and parts they may need. Service technicians will spend their days traveling from job to job in their company trucks servicing stoves and fireplaces throughout the northern Olympic Peninsula. Our service technicians work Monday- Friday. Overtime and occasional optional Saturdays are available.
Essential Job Functions:
Work individually to service electric, gas, wood, and pellet stoves/inserts in existing homes. Develop an in-depth understanding of all hearth products and the installation process Maintain superior communication with other employees and customers to insure services are completed timely and meet quality standards. Complete job specific paperwork. Read and understand documents related to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and installation manuals. Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be able to lift 100+pounds Physical abilities of excessive bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing, roof work, and use of power tools. Ability to work on roofs and/or in crawl spaces following all safety precautions Be able to work individually or with team members and effectively communicate with other staff. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Hands on mechanical experience a plus Prior service experience preferred but not required. Will train the right person
