Requirements:
Must have a current up to date 6010 Medical Gas License or currently working to secure license. •
TRAVELING IS A MUST
Previous experience working at healthcare facilities Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in commercial healthcare plumbing and medical gas. Must obtain a current OSHA 30 certificate or work to secure certification. Florida Journeyman Plumbing License is a plus. Must be able to meet the physical requirements for the position which requires sitting, driving a company vehicle, stooping, bending, standing for a period, and lifting 50lbs to 75lbs. Willing and ability to work 40 hours a week with occasional OT or evening shifts as required. Must be willing and ability to travel statewide or within surrounding states of Florida for project assignments. Multi-state projects including work outside of Florida. Be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
Job Duties:
Abide by company policies per company Playbook. Must be on-site 10-15 Minutes prior to shift start. Must be able to communicate well either by verbal conversation or by via-email. Must be an A+ team player that can lead and be willing to train up with an excellent attitude. Must follow directions and meet the expectations provided by the General Super, Project Manager, and / or upper management. Attention to detail and perform quality control daily that meets or exceeds company practice standards. Must have working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and Microsoft Office on iPad. Perform daily pre-task discussions with field team and complete the pre-task documentation prior to end of the daily work shift in Procore. Must complete daily log per company standards prior to end of shift in Procore. Comprehend and utilize blueprints or BIM drawings for various types of plumbing and medical gas systems. Perform plumbing or medical gas piping system layout prior to installation that meet project contract documents, International Plumbing Code [IPC] and ADA requirements. Must be able to work well with General Foreman and Project Manager and keep an open line of communication such as any scope of work change that is not per contracted documents and / or delays. Must be present for weekly or daily project meetings with clients to discuss project logistics, project schedule, progress and/or delays. Provide the General Foreman and Project Manager every Thursday prior to end of shift an updated bi
weekly look ahead for all materials and labor to complete task per schedule and within project budget.
Utilize company cost codes to company standards prior to via-email material list to project manager. Must provide project manager with weekly production labor units per company standards and cost codes. Maintain company assigned vehicles with oil changes when needed and kept in good clean manner both inside and outside of vehicle. Vehicles will be washed at a minimum of once a week. Assist with unloading and loading materials or tools when delivered to the project. Other duties may apply.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience as a Commercial Medical Gas with
ASSE 6010
Installer
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the plumbing & MEDICAL GAS codes and regulations
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
Self-driven and ability to work safely and independently
Manage manpower, complete required daily paperwork, material ordering and time management.
