Position Summary:

Works closely with production staff conducting well activities near the Barstow / Pecos area of West Texas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Daily, perform full walk around wells & facilities & reports, via entry to EVIN system, any wells down, leaks or spills. Submit timely reports to various field leadership team members. Pump and gauge one or multiple routes under direct supervision of more experienced production staff. Limited maintenance and repair responsibility at battery and wellhead. Responsible for maintenance, safety, and overall condition of assigned company vehicle. Communicate well with team leaders or other persons on staff. Willing to work long hours or cover other routes when needed. Provide additional support to field leadership team members as needed.

Required Skills:

Must be willing to assist and, at times, train less experienced Lease Operators.

Desired skills:

Three (3) years of experience as an oil and gas Lease Operator is preferred.

Education and Experience:

No minimum education requirements, however, H.S. Diploma or GED is preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an oil and gas Lease Operator. Demonstrated ability to comprehend, retain, and comply with verbal and written driver safety standards established by Jetta, and monitored through company vehicle safety monitoring program. Must have a minimum of three (3) years' driving experience. Must have and maintain a valid and unexpired

Texas Driver License Physical Requirements:

Wear personal protective equipment, including but not limited to hard hat, steel-toed safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, goggles, and full body fireproof uniform Ability to comprehend, remember, and follow verbal and written directions and comply with company policies, procedures and standard Ability to work in noisy environments Climbing 16' or 25' stairs Frequently lift, up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Occasionally working in severe weather conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures Muddy and wet conditions are frequent H2S Certification will be required within 90 days of employment; company provides training
