Job Summary We are hiring Cement Equipment Operators (entry-level or experienced) to support oilfield cementing operations.
This role involves the safe operation, maintenance, and support of cementing equipment during well cementing jobs. Candidates must hold a Class A CDL with no manual restriction. Schedule 15 days on / 6 days off rotation - to midland Locals (within 30 miles of the reporting location) may stay home Traveling employees receive mileage reimbursement up to 300 miles each way Housing and per diem provided Compensation $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience $30 per day per diem Overtime paid as applicable Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor cementing equipment, including cement units, high-pressure pumps, mixing systems, and bulk equipment during primary and remedial cementing operations Perform pre-job inspections, pressure tests, and function checks Mix, transfer, and pump cement slurry according to job design while maintaining accurate density, volume, and pressure control Monitor critical parameters during pumping and communicate effectively with the supervisor and crew Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, hoses, manifolds, and related systems; troubleshoot and repair issues in the field Assist with loading, unloading, rig-up, and rig-down of equipment Maintain accurate job tickets, equipment logs, and maintenance records Strictly follow all company, client, and regulatory safety policies (PPE, H2S, lockout/tagout, etc.) Participate in pre-job safety meetings and JSAs Requirements Class A CDL with no manual restriction (required) Entry-level candidates will be considered; prior cementing or oilfield equipment experience preferred Ability to work long shifts, nights, weekends, and in outdoor industrial environments Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb, bend, and work in varying weather conditions Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical TWIC card and basic safety certifications (SafeLand, H2S, etc.) preferred or obtainable prior to start Preferred Previous experience operating cement units or similar oilfield pumping equipment Mechanical aptitude and field repair experience Current safety certifications This is a hands-on field position supporting active drilling and completion operations. Reliable, safety-focused operators who take ownership of equipment and job execution will succeed in this role.
