2 years (Required) We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our construction team. Looking for Heavy Equipment Operator to operate large and small size Excavators, skid steer and dozer. You Need to be experienced with utility work, sitework, demo, clearing, grading, water lines, sewer lines, etc. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and assist with construction utility work labor, excavation, grading, and site preparation. Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution on diverse construction sites. Starting Pay rate will be based on your experience, dependability, and your productivity. Must have positive referral, minimum of 2 years excavator and utility work. Duties Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, water trucks, and machinery to perform excavation, grading, and utility work. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations Assist with construction utility work such as utility locating, trenching, and installation support Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members Support construction site activities by performing labor tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and assisting skilled tradespeople Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and safety inspections Collaborate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to construction timelines Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, and water trucks in a construction environment Knowledge of construction utility work including utility locating and excavation techniques Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Ability to perform basic mechanical maintenance on machinery and perform routine inspections Valid driver's license Strong understanding of construction grading, site preparation, and excavation processes Mechanical knowledge related to equipment Construction site experience with a focus on safety regulations and quality standards Ability to operate loaders, excavators, water trucks, and other heavy machinery proficiently Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Join our team today if you're ready to bring your heavy equipment operation skills into an energetic environment.
Pay:
$21.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
