We are an established Southern California towing company known for professional service, dependable response, and strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies, commercial fleets, municipalities, and the communities we serve. This is not a routine passenger-vehicle towing position. Our heavy-duty operators handle commercial breakdowns, accident recoveries, equipment transport, police requests, winch-outs, and emergency roadside incidents throughout Riverside County and the Inland Empire. Every day is different. One assignment may involve transporting construction equipment on a Landoll, while the next may require recovering or towing a disabled tractor-trailer, bus, RV, or other commercial vehicle. Four-axle heavy-duty 55-ton wreckers Landoll trailer pulled by a Class A semi tractor Our equipment is used to handle commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, RVs, construction equipment, machinery, and heavy recovery assignments. What You'll Do Respond to commercial vehicle breakdowns, accidents, impounds, police requests, and roadside emergencies Operate medium-duty and heavy-duty wreckers safely and professionally Operate a semi tractor and Landoll trailer for vehicle and equipment transport Tow and recover commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, RVs, and heavy equipment Perform winch-outs, uprighting, accident recovery, and scene-clearance operations Evaluate recovery scenes and determine safe, effective recovery procedures Properly secure vehicles and equipment using chains, straps, binders, and other rigging equipment Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, law enforcement, fleet customers, and the public Complete accurate towing, inspection, and service documentation Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Keep assigned trucks, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for service Follow DOT requirements, company policies, safety procedures, and accepted industry practices Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License Acceptable driving record Ability to meet DOT qualification requirements Ability to pass required drug and alcohol screening Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles with air brakes Ability to lift, carry, and handle equipment weighing 75 lbs. or more Ability to work outdoors and roadside in changing weather, traffic, and recovery conditions Strong communication and customer-service skills Professional appearance and conduct Dependable attendance and ability to respond promptly to assigned calls Availability to work a full-time schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating on-call assignments Preferred Experience Heavy-duty towing or commercial vehicle recovery Medium-duty towing Tractor-trailer or Class A commercial driving Landoll, lowboy, or equipment transport Heavy wrecker and underlift operation Winch-outs, rigging, uprighting, and accident recovery Police towing or emergency roadside response Commercial fleet towing and transport Applicants with strong Class A commercial driving, equipment transport, or heavy-equipment experience may also be considered based on overall qualifications and ability to learn towing and recovery operations. The Operator We're Looking For The right candidate is more than a driver. We need a professional operator who uses good judgment, works safely under pressure, protects company equipment, and understands the importance of representing Auto Aide properly at accident scenes, customer locations, and during interactions with law enforcement. You should be comfortable working independently while remaining responsive to dispatch and management. You must also be willing to help maintain equipment, prepare for upcoming assignments, and contribute to a professional team environment between calls. Schedule and Earnings This is a full-time position with a schedule based on operational needs. Heavy-duty operators may work daytime, nighttime, weekend, holiday, and rotating on-call assignments. Weekly earnings generally range from $1,350 to $2,000 or more , depending on experience, scheduled hours, assignments, after-hours availability, and commission opportunities.
