Job Description

We are Seeking a dependable and experienced Skid Steer Operator. The ideal candidate must be able to operate safely and efficiently and perform fine grading to meet required elevations and finished tolerances. This is a working operator position. When not operating equipment, the employee will assist the crew with manual labor, including carrying and installing sod, jobsite preparation, cleanup, erosion-control installation, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a skid steer Perform rough and fine grading Work from grade stakes, elevations, and supervisor direction Complete daily equipment inspections Report equipment damage or maintenance concerns Load, move, and place soil, aggregate, sod, and other materials Assist with laying and handling sod when equipment is not in use Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Perform other construction, landscaping, or environmental-work tasks as needed Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements
Qualifications:
Previous skid steer operating experience required Fine-grading experience required Ability to operate safely around workers, structures, and utilities Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Willingness to perform physical labor when not operating Ability to lift approximately 50-75 pounds Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Valid driver's license preferred OSHA or other construction-safety training is a plus Applicants should understand that this is not an operator-only position. The employee will be expected to work alongside the crew and assist with manual labor whenever equipment operation is not required.
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 50.0 per week
