Grading Operator Honc is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced Grading Operator to join our Residential Team. As the Grading Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of skilled or semi-skilled tasks involving the operation, servicing and maintenance of our heavy equipment. The ideal applicant will have experience with track loader type skid loader and mini excavators. Grading Operator Duties and Responsibilities Building/grading pad and stem wall filling and compacting Rough and finish grade around houses Septic system back filling Set culverts Drive Cuts Lot scrapes Erosion control Loading out trucks for export of materials Operates heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage Inspect equipment and provide any safety issues or concerns to the supervisor immediately Other duties as assigned Grading Operator Requirements and Qualifications Ability to operate a track loader type skid loader and mini excavator; previous experience required Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background/driving check is required Able to work in a team environment and individually Ability to communicate and report effectively Ability to sit, climb, squat, bend or stand for an extended period of time. In addition, ability to lift a minimum of 50+ lbs. Compensation Based on experience
