Job Description

Job description: We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. Candidates must be able to operate assigned equipment efficiently, work in tight spaces, and perform tasks with precision on active job sites.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience Must be able to operate assigned equipment confidently and independently Ability to work in tight or confined spaces Strong awareness of job site safety and surroundings Reliable and able to show up ready to work
Drug Free Workplace Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, loaders, mini-excavators, etc.) safely and efficiently Perform precise excavation for utility work (electric, plumbing, gas, duct banks) Cut, remove, and handle concrete/asphalt in coordination with crews Excavate trenches using mechanical or hydro methods while maintaining grade and alignment Work in tight spaces around existing utilities and structures without causing damage Assist with trenching operations, including working around shoring systems and maintaining safe access Backfill, grade, and compact to spec Support concrete operations (subgrade prep, forming assistance, pour-back readiness) Read and interpret plans, markings, elevations, and site layouts Coordinate with ground crews to maintain production and jobsite safety Perform daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report issues immediately Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
