Available Benefits Help for . Louisiana Bridge Builders ("LBB") is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and approaches for a 5.5 mile stretch between I-210 West End and Ryan Street. Position Purpose/Summary The Broom/Sweeper Operator
Level II is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by operating specialized vehicles or equipment to clean streets, parking lots, construction sites, or industrial areas.
Location:
Lake Charles, LA. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Operate street sweepers, power brooms, or vacuum trucks to clean assigned areas Remove dirt, debris, leaves, and other materials from streets, parking lots, and worksites Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of sweeping equipment Report mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws Use proper disposal methods for collected waste materials Maintain accurate logs of work completed, fuel usage, and equipment condition Assist with site cleanup on construction or municipal projects when needed
Operate machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely.

Ability to operate machinery using throttles, switches, pedals, levers, etc. Qualifications At a minimum, the Motor Grader/Blade Operator II must have (3)+ years of relevant, proven, experience operating construction equipment and total station leveling systems.
