Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Pit Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy machinery, such as a wheel loader, to efficiently load materials. Your expertise in equipment operation, maintenance, and safety regulations will ensure smooth project progress while adhering to all federal construction safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and construction experience to make a tangible impact. -Looking to hire full-time and/or part-time positions. - Full-time employees receive paid holidays after 6 months. Duties Operate loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active construction sites Load and unload materials such as sand, gravel, and dirt, with precision Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times Maintain detailed records of equipment use, inspections, and maintenance activities Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, or similar equipment in a construction environment Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and identify potential issues before they escalate Construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols and hazard awareness Join our team if you're ready to bring energy, precision, and professionalism to a fast-paced construction environment.
