Job Description

Plumbing Excavator-Operator If you take pride in precision, lead confidently in the field, and are driven to deliver safe, efficient excavation work that not only meets code but leaves a lasting impression on the customer, this is your opportunity to operate at a higher level.
The Big Task:
Provide top-level service and installation for all underground residential plumbing repairs, safely operate excavation equipment, and deliver high-quality workmanship.
What You'll Do:
Operate and transport excavation equipment to residential job sites Lead and guide a three-person crew while working around utilities (Miss Dig) Expose sewer and drainage systems safely and efficiently Coordinate with city inspectors for pass/fail approvals Backfill and restore job sites to the proper grade Maintain and secure equipment after each job Invoice and collect payment onsite Utilize ServiceTitan for job tracking and communication Cross-train in other roles during weather downtime Collaborate with teams to follow Nexstar and the company processes KPIs for
Success:
Maintain a customer NPS of 9.3 or higher Keep the labor percentage at 10% or lower Maintain a warranty/callback rate of 5% or less Achieve a minimum of $10,000 in weekly installed revenue
What We're Looking For:
Valid
CDL A / DOT
certification with the ability to transport equipment 2+ years of excavation experience Strong knowledge of Miss Dig, OSHA, and safety regulations Ability to work efficiently, lead a crew, and deliver high-quality results If you take pride in running a clean, efficient job, leading from the front, and getting it done right the first time, this is the job for you!
