POSITION SUMMARY

The Heavy Equipment Operator III safely operates support equipment while learning advanced construction techniques and building the skills necessary to advance within Geotex.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate compactors, skid steers, off-road trucks, tractors, rollers, and rubber tire hoes. Assist crews with site development and utility work. Perform daily equipment inspections. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe condition. Follow direction from Foremen and senior operators. Support production activities on active construction sites. Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous equipment operation experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work overtime as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

Site development experience. Utility construction experience. OSHA certifications.

COMPENSATION

$28.00

• $32.

00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Overtime opportunities available.

Typical work hours begin at 7:00 a.m. Overtime opportunities are available based on project needs. Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
