Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of construction machinery to support large-scale projects, ensuring efficient and safe completion of tasks. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to perform earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation activities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by handling materials with appropriate machinery like water trucks or tanker trucks Collaborate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements Use hand tools and hydraulics systems for minor repairs or adjustments on equipment as needed Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks for accountability and reporting purposes Requirements Proven experience operating construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes (including crane operation), and other material handling equipment Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures, equipment maintenance, hydraulics, and occupational safety regulations Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks or front loader trucks Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs using hand tools and understand construction machinery maintenance protocols Construction site experience with familiarity in concrete mixers, farm machinery, tankers, and heavy equipment operation in diverse environments Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high safety standards Physical stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions Join us in building the future!
