Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support building projects, infrastructure development, and site preparation. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate construction machinery including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers with precision and safety consciousness Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment such as hydraulic systems, mechanical parts, and hand tools to ensure optimal performance Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like forklifts and front loader trucks while following safety procedures Follow all occupational safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently during operations Assist with site preparation activities by grading, excavating, lifting, and moving materials as directed by project supervisors Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety checks for compliance purposes Support other construction tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork on the job site Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes (including crane operation), and Caterpillar equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulics, construction site safety procedures, and occupational safety regulation compliance Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity Familiarity with the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments on-site Experience with commercial truck driving including operation of dump trucks, tanker trucks, front loader trucks, water trucks, or farm machinery is highly desirable Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to construction machinery and hydraulics Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and material handling Join us in building a safer, more efficient work environment where your skills make a real impact! Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
