Tunneling Project Superintendent
Construction Houston, Texas Permanent Jun 17, 2026 Tunneling Project Superintendent Greater Houston, TX What You'll Do Lead all crews and subcontractors to complete projects safely, on time, and on budget
Drive jobsite safety culture: lead daily risk assessments, toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA compliance
Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors
Maintain accurate timesheets, equipment count reports, and utilization reports
Plan all project work in advance
Supervise, train, and ensure tasks are carried out effectively by the Foreman What You'll Need 10 years of experience in heavy civil work including MTBM, conventional tunneling, or HDD (required), OR a B.S. in a relevant field with 5+ years in microtunneling, conventional tunneling, and geotechnical work
Experience in heavy construction: site work, roads, or environmental
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with excellent follow-through
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience with cloud-based field apps preferred
