This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of a loader
Various other types of construction equipment may also be operated, including but not limited to Loaders, skid steers, Water Trucks, sweeper, etc
Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor
Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards
Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications
Report to the work dressed appropriately and ready to begin work at the designated start time
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and by OSHA and/or MSHA
Willingness to work independently or within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
Must be willing to work weekends when necessary
Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated production areas

Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, rotating of the neck and shoulders
Frequent sitting and operating heavy equipment/loader
The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to manipulate or feel; reach with hands and arms; twist at the waist, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
Employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
