Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming interiors and exteriors by applying paint, coatings, and finishes with precision and care. Your expertise will help enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and eye for detail to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using various methods such as hand tools, conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, and construction spray painting techniques. Conduct surface preparation for construction painting projects including masonry, stucco, drywall, and concrete finishing. Perform residential and commercial painting tasks with attention to color theory principles and visual color comparison for consistent color matching. Install fixtures, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and perform renovation or remodeling tasks as needed to prepare spaces for painting. Follow strict safety regulations by using respiratory protection, proper handling of power tools, scaffolding safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment. Experience Proven experience in construction painting including residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment such as respiratory protection. Skilled in surface preparation techniques like plastering, caulking, sanding, and masonry work. Experience operating hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and airless or conventional spray systems. Basic math skills for measuring surfaces accurately and calculating paint quantities needed for various projects.
