Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and safety standards. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance structural integrity, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and creativity while adhering to strict safety protocols. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and surface preparation instructions to execute precise painting tasks Apply paint using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and power tools for efficient coverage across various surfaces Conduct surface treatments such as coating, staining, sealing, and finishing on walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and structural elements Perform construction site surface preparation including sanding, scraping, masking, and surface repairs to meet safety regulations and project standards Use ladders safely for elevated work while maintaining adherence to safety regulations including respiratory protection and fall prevention measures Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting including residential painting, commercial painting Proficiency with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, scrapers; power tools including paint sprayers (airless/conventional scaffolding; ladders; Familiarity with safety regulations pertaining to construction sites including respiratory protection protocols and safe ladder use eager to contribute your expertise in transforming spaces!
