In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional sprayers), and other hand tools Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute painting projects according to specifications Perform structural painting tasks on walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, and concrete surfaces during renovation or restoration projects Use ladders and scaffolding safely to reach high or hard-to-access areas while adhering to safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations Assist with other construction-related tasks such as plastering, fixture installation, framing carpentry, or basic masonry as needed Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools like power tools and hand tools while following safety procedures at all times Skills Extensive experience in residential and commercial painting projects with knowledge of construction site procedures Strong understanding of color theory for accurate color matching and visual color comparison skills Proficiency in using various painting tools including brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (airless and conventional), and power tools Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schematics accurately Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking, plastering, and coating application for durable finishes Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection and fall prevention when working at heights Experience with industrial painting processes or specialized coatings is a plus but not required Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities effectively Familiarity with remodeling projects involving fixture installation, restoration work, or renovation tasks Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and project managers Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship that transforms spaces!
