Job Description

Painter must have painting experience and be willing to work 40-50+ hours per week. This position works closely with the job Forman and Project Manager to ensure that each job is completed on time and with excellence. The Painter is responsible for maintaining a positive work environment and supporting the vision/purpose, mission, and core values of Prestige Painting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position is considered a safety sensitive position
  • Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include but not limited to; standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, climbing ladders, working in spaces that may or may not be climate controlled, lifting heavy objects etc.
  • Ability to work in an environment that may require masks and/or respirators
  • Report directly to Forman.
  • Prep job site - properly cover and secure all areas that will NOT be painted
  • Prepare surfaces for paint by scraping, sanding and/or removing old paint
  • Apply various finishes/paints to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including but not limited to primers and sealers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools (clean sprayers, brushes, paint cans, etc.)
  • Ability to fix scaffolding and ladders
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment
  • Minor repairs to holes, walls, etc.
  • Apply paint using various techniques - brushes, rollers, sprayers etc.
  • Ability to remove fixtures - doorknobs, light switch covers, etc.
  • Caulk, seal, and plaster areas as needed
  • Properly clean up job site

Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
