• Perform surface preparations for items to be painted.
• Mix and apply paint per Job/Project specifications and requirements.
• Able to operate blast equipment and Wheelabrator or willingness to learn.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Able to operate airless pump/sprayer.
• Able to operate conventional paint pots. Work Experience Requirements
• Must display Safe work habits.
• This is an advanced level position and requires this individual to have knowledge of and the ability to implement SSPC specifications and requirements.
• Must be proficient at all hand prep processes.
• Must be proficient at the application of paint and the touch up of paint.
• Must have basic understanding of QMS.
• Must have basic understanding of order fulfillment.
• Start cross training to help in other departments.
