In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems used in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing and piping systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive safety approach. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine piping layouts and installation procedures. Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install pipe systems using hand tools and power tools such as pipe threaders, calipers, and tube benders. Perform welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick welding, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and pipe welding to join pipes securely according to ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards. Fabricate pipe components through cutting, bending, soldering, and fitting to meet project specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems to prevent leaks or failures; troubleshoot issues promptly using mechanical knowledge. Skills Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, and pipe welding techniques. Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with confidence. Mechanical aptitude combined with knowledge of pipe threading, fabrication processes, and pipefitting procedures. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as calipers; power tools including pipe threaders; tube benders; soldering equipment; and other fabrication tools. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions, angles for bending or cutting pipes accurately.
