Smith's is looking for positive, self motivated, dependable and hard working individuals to join our team. Work involves manhole and pipe cleaning projects around the Des Moines Metro area primarily new construction piping. We are busy, reputable and growing business that allows the opportunity of advancement for the right individuals. Jet cleaning operators are primarily responsible to clean and vacuum all material from newly installed sanitary and storm piping on new development sites before video inspection using truck and trailer jetters. Applicants are encouraged to obtain a CDL Class B (automatic transmission) within twelve months of employment that Smith's will pay for. Valid CDL class B holders have a starting pay range from $25.00-$30.00 per hour based on prior work experience. All other applicants starting pay will be based on prior work experience. We are family focused company with no night or weekend work but this position does require overtime hours during the construction season.
