Job Description
About the Role As a Senior Industrial Pipefitter, you will serve as a technical lead for our facility maintenance operations, ensuring the reliability of critical fluid and steam systems. You will leverage your expertise in high-pressure piping and water treatment to optimize infrastructure performance and support seamless manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Execute complex repairs and preventive maintenance on high-pressure steam, hot water, and process piping systems to maximize facility uptime. Oversee the installation and maintenance of specialized RO/DI water systems and backflow prevention devices to ensure regulatory compliance. Lead troubleshooting initiatives for distribution networks, including steam, water, and natural gas lines, to resolve operational bottlenecks. Manage work orders via CMMS software, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with external vendors to ensure project completion. Interpret mechanical blueprints and provide technical specifications for structural modifications and system upgrades. Maintain accurate service documentation and inventory logs to support efficient resource management and future planning. Required Skills Current State Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter (JPG) License. Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial plumbing and pipefitting. Active Class II/III backflow prevention certification. Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and technical schematics. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in various facility environments. Preferred Skills Master Plumber License. Advanced experience with DI/RO water purification systems. Proven leadership experience in directing maintenance teams or contractors. Strong proficiency in CMMS and digital work order management systems.
