The Pipe Fitter is responsible for the shop layout, fabrication and fit-up of carbon steel pipe spools used in industrial and construction projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and piping specifications.
• Lay out, measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipe for welding and fabrication.
• Assemble piping systems and components according to project specifications and tolerances.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and fit-up quality prior to welding.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and beveling machines safely.
• Assist with rigging, material handling, and movement of pipe and fabricated assemblies.
• Inspect materials and completed assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

3+ years of industrial pipe fitting experience preferred. Strong ability to read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Experience working with carbon steel piping required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
