Job description Responsible for helping to maintain sandblasting equipment up to par for operating use. Must maintain work area and keep sandblasting equipment clean to avoid any safety violation or cause any injury to themselves or others. Must learn, understand, and follow all proper OSHA & Company safety protocols. Must wear and maintain all appropriate personal protective equipment as required. Must be able to perform abrasive blasting/coating properly by following regulations and standards. Must be able to inspect their own quality blasting/coating and ensure the task is completed. Consistent communication is required. Must report job completions, any observations regarding equipment maintenance or safety violations. Helper must be able to perform any other duties given.

Requirements:

Experience preferred, but training is available. Understand the different methods/types of blasting and coating techniques. Must be able to understand fittings, vessels, equipment, and pipe outlines to complete task. Must be willing to work in different types of environment/weather conditions.
