ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists operator associate in loading/unloading ships and barges while following ABT procedures and state/federal regulations. Operates scales and completes paper work associated with trucks. Assists in terminal housekeeping. Assists in maintenance and repairs in terminal. Ensures that everyone doing business at ABT abides by all safety rules. Ensures accuracy of gauges when assisting operator associate with tank and barge gauging. Assists with security at ABT. Notifies operator associate about any problems with operating procedures. Operates portable air compressor. Purges truck loading pipeline when necessary. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer one or more years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license, Weighmaster Certificate, and Hazwoper training (24 hours), boat operator license, is required. Must score 100% on all broadbanding tests required to achieve loader Entry Level 1, and must maintain a thorough knowledge of

Manual (FRP), Operations Manual, SPCC Plan, Fire Department Manual, security procedures and Hazcom Manual. Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
