Formed through the merger of Taproot Rockies Midstream and Zen Midstream LLC and backed by Quantum Energy Partners, Stampede delivers value through operational excellence, responsible development, and strong customer partnerships. Stampede currently owns and operates more than 150 miles of crude gathering and transportation pipeline and over 175 miles of produced water gathering pipeline across more than one million combined dedicated acres. Stampede also operates a robust fresh water supply, storage, and distribution system, as well as the Ren Compressor Station and associated gas gathering and gas lift infrastructure in the northeastern DJ Basin. Stampede currently transports more than 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day, 100,000 barrels of produced water per day, and gathers more than 75 MMcf of natural gas per day. Why this role matters to our organization: The Measurement Technician ensures the accurate measurement and reporting of crude oil and natural gas volumes across our midstream operations. This role supports revenue integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency by maintaining measurement systems, supporting custody transfer activities, and resolving volume discrepancies. What it takes to be successful in this role: Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of oil and gas measurement systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate can work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate effectively with Operations and I&E teams to maintain measurement reliability and system performance. Summary The Measurement Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and monitoring of crude oil and natural gas measurement equipment throughout the company's midstream assets. This position ensures measurement accuracy, supports custody transfer operations, and maintains compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of crude oil and natural gas measurement systems, including LACT units, tank gauging systems, meter runs, flow computers, EFM devices, and related communications equipment. Operate mobile meter proving equipment and perform meter proving activities. Perform meter calibrations, inspections, and verifications. Validate production, gathering, and sales volumes. Monitor measurement data and investigate discrepancies, volume imbalances, and allocation issues. Configure and maintain flow computers and communication systems. Conduct routine audits of measurement facilities and documentation. Support custody transfer activities and regulatory compliance requirements. Coordinate repairs and corrective actions with Operations and I&E personnel. Assist with facility startups, commissioning, and meter installations. Maintain measurement records, calibration reports, and equipment documentation. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards. Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Core Competencies Oil & Gas Measurement Systems Custody Transfer & Volume Verification Technical Troubleshooting Regulatory Compliance Operational Excellence Education and Experience (required): High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of experience in crude oil, natural gas, or midstream measurement operations. Experience with measurement equipment, including LACT units, gas meter runs, flow computers, EFM devices, and tank gauging systems. Working knowledge of oil and gas measurement principles and volume allocation processes. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and measurement drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-related software applications. Education and Experience (preferred): Associate degree or technical certification in Instrumentation, Electronics, Measurement, Process Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in midstream measurement or pipeline operations. Knowledge of API, AGA, and GPA measurement standards. Experience with meter proving equipment, flow computers, and SCADA systems. Instrumentation and controls (I&E) experience.

Additional Information Compensation:

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $40.00 - $64.00 hourly in this location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above. Work Environment This position operates in a field environment. This entails working outside in variable weather conditions. Employee could be exposed to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations or dust. Physical Demands In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position. Position Type and Working Hours This is a full-time position. This position will require working nights and weekends occasionally as dictated by the operational needs of the field. Typical work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Employees must be capable and willing to work overtime as required. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours. Schedule This position requires a 12-hour shift, ensuring continuous coverage and operational efficiency. The current schedule is eight (8) days on with six (6) days off (subject to change). As part of the work schedule, you will be expected to work weekends and holidays, contributing to our mission during these special occasions. Night shifts and overnight shifts are essential to maintain round-the-clock operations and optimize production. Overtime may be required. Travel Routine, even daily, travel to remote locations will be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, or visits to other company office locations.
