In this role, you will be responsible for applying stucco finishes to building exteriors and interiors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure proper adhesion of stucco materials. Mix and apply stucco mixes according to project specifications, ensuring consistent texture and coverage. Install rebar reinforcement and framing components necessary for stucco application on various structures. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute project requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during application processes. Perform concrete finishing, masonry work, and stone masonry as needed to support stucco installation. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on stucco, masonry, or related building materials. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings relevant to construction projects. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, drywall installation, and tile laying preferred. Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites including scaffold building and heavy equipment operation. Prior involvement in renovation projects or exterior/interior building material installation is highly desirable. Ability to interpret construction plans accurately and follow detailed specifications for quality results. Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, mortar work, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, metal stud framing, and other related tasks.
