Full-time Job Summary:

Jessup Construction is seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasoned Mason with Carpentry Skills to assist with a variety of masonry and construction tasks on residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate will have solid masonry experience along with working carpentry skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong work ethic. Candidate must be bilingual, Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:

Lay and bond brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials Mix, apply, and finish mortar, grout, and concrete Assist with framing, drywall, trim, and other carpentry-related tasks as needed Read and work from plans, layouts, and directions Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed Maintain a clean and organized worksite Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

Masonry experience required; carpentry or general construction experience strongly preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on your feet for long periods Familiarity with masonry and construction tools and job site safety practices Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Bilingual in English and Spanish required Willingness to learn and take direction
