In this role, you will be instrumental in executing high-quality outdoor construction and landscaping projects, including stonework, paving, retaining walls, and other hardscape features. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional, beautiful environments while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Duties Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as pavers, retaining walls, patios, walkways, and outdoor features using hand tools and power tools. Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and ensuring proper site organization for efficient workflow. Operate heavy equipment such as mini-excavators or skid steers to move materials and prepare surfaces for installation. Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute landscape designs. Mix and pour concrete forms for pathways, steps, or other structural elements with precision and adherence to specifications. Install building materials including stone, brick, stucco, drywall, or cabinetry as required for landscape structures or adjacent remodeling projects. Maintain strict safety protocols on-site by wearing appropriate PPE, following OSHA standards, and ensuring safe operation of tools and equipment. Requirements Minimum of three years' experience in hardscaping construction projects with proven knowledge of outdoor work environments. Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation (mini-excavators, skid steers Experience with building material installation including concrete forming, plastering, caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, and cabinet setup. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to outdoor water features or irrigation is a plus. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Excellent attention to detail in construction inspection and estimating tasks; ability to follow safety protocols.
