In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality outdoor hardscaping projects, including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features. Your expertise in building material installation and construction techniques will help transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your construction experience, and contribute to creating stunning outdoor landscapes. Duties Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution. Prepare job sites by setting up tools, materials, and safety equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Install various hardscape elements such as pavers, stonework, concrete structures, and retaining walls with precision and craftsmanship. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to facilitate efficient project completion. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks like plumbing or electrical work that integrate with hardscaping features. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety standards throughout each project phase. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and ensure all installations meet industry standards and client expectations. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on hardscaping construction projects. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Knowledge of building materials such as stone, concrete, brick, and pavers for outdoor applications. Familiarity with related skills including carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, window installation, and remodeling. Experience with construction management principles and construction estimating is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA or local safety standards. Outdoor work experience with the ability to handle varying weather conditions comfortably. Electrical experience or plumbing knowledge is advantageous for integrated landscape features. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans effectively for precise execution of projects.
