In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in new residential and commercial construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet all safety standards, local building codes, and project specifications. Responsibilities Install plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems in new construction projects using hand tools, power tools, and construction plumbing techniques Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation of plumbing components Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and equipment to various job sites Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues during installation or after completion Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including pipe threading, pipe fitting, and system troubleshooting Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, and project managers to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion Adhere to all local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout every phase of the project Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on residential or commercial plumbing projects Proficiency in welding, drain cleaning, pipe threading, and the use of hand tools and power tools Mechanical knowledge of water systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and plumbing system maintenance Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for proper installation procedures Experience with construction site safety protocols and adherence to local building codes Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and working in confined spaces Experience operating trenching equipment (trencher, mini excavator, skid steer) is preferred.
