We are located in a beautiful mountain town with wonderful schools and spectacular views. Relocating here is a must for the job. We can help with housing & transportation. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Tech/ Service Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of service, repair & replacement work on heating, cooling and plumbing systems in residences in the high altitude of the mountains.
Jobs range from:
diagnosing and fixing mini splits, furnaces & boilers (repairing or replacing such systems when necessary) servicing: tankless water heaters, tank-type water heaters, boilers (combination, cast iron & condensing), furnaces, toilets, leaks, etc. fixing leaks, installing pipes, replacing water heaters, replacing HVAC systems, remodeling work, etc. We supply you a work truck. Must have your own tools. Responsibilities Diagnose residential plumbing & heating systems Repair & replace residential HVAC systems Understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. drains, electrical wiring, etc) Install and maintain water supply systems Know and understand water heating & space heating systems Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks) Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc. Repair or replace water heaters. Repair domestic fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc. Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systemsSkills Proven experience as a HVAC tech Proven experience as a plumber Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings Working knowledge of plumbing systems and appliances Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, fittings etc.) Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and trustworthy Friendly with a great deal of patience Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
