Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and related trade skills. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. The Plumber Technician will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC, and remodeling are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks as required for complex plumbing installations Conduct remodeling and renovation work involving plumbing components Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move materials and equipment on-site Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plumbing, HVAC, and related systems Follow construction plans and schematics to ensure precise installation of piping and fixtures Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or related trades Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and remodeling processes Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various construction environments Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations Construction site experience is preferred; familiarity with carpentry or maintenance person work is a plus Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site access as needed Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills within the construction trades.
